Sara Austin brings over 7 years of experience in the dental field to her role as Office Manager. Born and raised in Alamogordo, Sara has a passion for creating positive experiences for every patient who walks through the door. She takes pride in helping patients feel at ease about their dental visits ensuring those needs are met with kindness and understanding. One of Sara's favorite parts of her role is witnessing the joy of patients leaving with brighter, healthier smiles knowing she's part of their journey toward better dental health.
Outside of the office, Sara enjoys spending time with her three boys and making meaningful memories with her family. A true family-focused individual, Sara cherishes the balance between her professional life and the joy of raising her sons within the community she loves so much.

Lisa Orozco, RDH~Dental HygienistShe has been in the dental field for over 32 years, she completed the dental hygiene program at El Paso Community College in 1991 and went on to pursue her anesthetic license at Phoenix College. She is passionate about customizing your dental care to your individual needs and expectations in terms of your oral health. Whether you are getting back on track with your oral health or if you are already at a preventative level of health. She will work with you to reach your goals. She likes to spend time with her family, listen to music and keep active working out at her local gym.
Anna Paula Dizon, Dental HygienistShe was born and raised in the Philippines and migrated to the U.S. in 2000. She graduated dental hygiene school from the college of Lake County in Illinois in 2013. She is a proud Air Force wife for 10 years and she has two great dogs. She loves working out, doing body pump and boot camps. She enjoys hiking and outdoors during her spare time.
Erin Taylor, Dental Hygienist
Erin is a Registered Dental Hygienist with 3 years of experience. She graduated Dental Hygiene School in 2022 with a Bachelor's Degree from Pierce College in Fort Steilacoom, Washington. Erin likes to take a patient-centered approach to dentistry. She is passionate about serving patients who have high dental anxiety and helping them to have a more comfortable view of dentistry. Erin was born and raised a Military Brat and has been an Air Force Wife for 19 years. She also is a mother to 3 children. Having the ability to travel all over with the Military has given her many different perspectives. She is always striving to do her best and willing to learn and improve to make patients’ experiences better at each visit.
Daraka Holmes, Dental Assistant
Daraka Holmes has been a dental assistant for eight years. She has worked with patients from 0 to 100 years old. she enjoys making every dental experience comfortable and enjoyable for all. It’s always rewarding to meet patients and help them with their smile. Daraka is grateful to be part of an incredible team. In her off time Daraka enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 fur babies.
Isabella Lopez-Sanchez, Dental Assistant
Isabella Lopez-Sanchez is a dedicated and experienced dental assistant with over five years of hands-on expertise in providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients. Born and raised in Maryland, Isabella has always had a strong commitment to helping others, which naturally led her to the dental field. Her calm demeanor, attention to detail, and patient-first approach have earned her the trust of both colleagues and the individuals she assists daily.
As a proud military spouse, Isabella brings a sense of resilience, adaptability, and discipline to her work environment—qualities that have helped her thrive in diverse clinical settings. She understands the unique needs of military families and is passionate about supporting her community both inside and outside the dental office.
Beyond her professional life, Isabella is an avid animal lover and the proud pet parent of two beloved fur babies. Whether she's volunteering, assisting patients, or spending time with her pets, Isabella's warmth and dedication shine through in all that she does.
Adriella Mendoza, Dental Assistant
She is 23 years old. Beautiful Alamogordo is her hometown. She has been assisting for 3 years now. She is the newest edition to the team and she is excited for this new journey and to be a part of White Sands Family Dental Team!
Kat Johnson, Dental Assistant
Kat is a hygiene assistant who recently entered the dental field and is enthusiastic about building her career in the industry. Originally from El Paso, she is new to the Alamogordo area and is enjoying getting to know her new community. With several years of experience in patient care, Kat is passionate about creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for every patient. She looks forward to growing her skills and advancing within the dental profession. Outside of work, Kat enjoys hiking with her dog and riding her motorcycle in her free time.
Patricia Gonzales, Dental AssistantPatricia is the mother of 2 amazing kids. She has 20 years of experience in a variety of dental settings, including pediatrics, orthodontics and general dentistry. With a passion for dentistry, and patient-focused care, Patricia always works to create a comfortable and positive environment for patients and building strong relationships with them. She is always striving to learn and improve and she is passionate about using the latest technology to enhance patient care. Her bilingual skills have been very helpful in helping communicate patient care and treatment.
Maria Meza, Front DeskMoved to Alamogordo in 2012 from Deming NM and has loved it ever since. Although Maria is fairly new to White Sands Family Dental, she has been in Dental/ Medical field for 5 yrs now. She loves helping people and absolutely loves all her patients. Maria is bilingual and will make sure you are well taken care of. She loves to see her patients leave with a smile. She and her husband have 4 children together and love to spend as much family time possible when not at work.
Cheyenne Shivadecker, Dental Assistant
Cheyenne is new to the dental field and excited to begin her journey as a hygiene assistant. She brings a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a passion for helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. Cheyenne is eager to grow her skills and support the dental team in delivering excellent care. Outside of work, Cheyenne enjoys playing pickleball with her husband and relaxing with her dachshund Diesel.
